Golf courses, par-3s, and driving ranges around Lancaster County

Whether you are new to the sport or an old pro, there is something for every level of play - practice at the driving range or take on the challenges of some of our more advanced courses.

Golf is not only a great way to catch up with family and friends, but it is also perfect for special events like Father's Day. Public Courses:

The following course are open to all golfers. Each course may have different rules on appearance, footwear, club and cart usage, tee times etc. so be sure to look up information prior to arrival.

Overlook Golf Course

Overlook Golf Course offers options for 18-hole or 9-hole rounds as well as morning rates, twilight rates, and junior rates of play. In addition, they provide group and private lessons. There is also a driving range and practice green available.

Moccasin Run Golf Club

Named for the Shawnee and Nanticoke Indians who once occupied the area, Moccasin Run Golf Club is a family-owned golf course. Upon visiting this course you can find a driving range, grille and pub, special events, leagues, and tournaments to participate in.

Pilgrim’s Oak Golf Course

Pilgrim's Oak is a links-style course situated amid gently rolling hills and flanked by scenic farms. The course has received top ratings from both Golf Magazine and Golf Digest. The facility has a great practice area for your short game, a fully-stocked pro shop, and offers lessons from a PGA Professional.

Four Seasons Golf Club

Four Seasons is a challenging par 70, 18-hole golf course. They also offer indoor training programs, lessons, junior golf programs, and club repairs. After a round of golf, you'll probably want to grab a bite to eat or ice cold beverage. Walk over to Blue Collar Restaurant, just steps off of the green for a delicious meal and exceptional views of the course.

Cool Creek Golf Club

Located in the rolling hills of the Susquehanna Valley, Cool Creek Golf Club offers a beautiful course. They offer the most complete Junior Golf program in the area in addition to leagues, tournaments, and lessons with golf pros.

Highlands of Donegal Golf Club

Like Scottish golf courses, Highlands of Donegal was designed and constructed in 1998 to seamlessly reflect the land as it was found, with minimal changes to the original topography. Thus, each hole retains its own individuality, which adds up to 18 holes of challenging & enjoyable golf. Top off your round with some of the offerings from the onsite Highland’s Pub.

Crossgates Golf Club

This beautiful course along the Conestoga River is a great place to play a round near Millersville University. In addition to the 18-hole course, they offer lessons, tournaments, and leagues.

Willow Valley Golf Course

If you are looking for a quick round, be sure to play at Willow Valley. This course is 9-holes (par 32). Players can rent clubs if they do not have their own equipment. This course is fun for beginners and great place to practice for skilled players.

Tanglewood Manor

Regarded as one of the top ten public golf courses in Pennsylvania, Tanglewood Manor is a beautiful 18-hole facility which offers a variety of rates and packages as well as a practice driving range.

Foxchase Golf Club

Offering regular golf, junior golf, foot golf, fling golf, and even golf in a corn maze! Foxchase Golf Club has quite the variety of options for you to choose from. They also have a driving range, and golf skate caddys™ if you are ready to try a new way of getting around the course. They are also the first course in Pennsylvania to be powered by electricity generated from a solar farm.

Evergreen Golf Course

Tree Top Golf Course

Tree Top Golf Course is a family-owned and-operated course located in rural Manheim. In addition to traditional golf, they also offer league play and night golf with glow-in-the-dark balls!

Wyndham Lancaster Resort & Convention Center

The Wyndham’s challenging 18-hole course is open to non-guests as well, with a snack shack to keep you energized and a putting green for practicing your short game.

Par -3 Courses:

If you are just starting out, playing with a beginner, or just looking to fit in a quick game, playing on a par-3 course is a good place to go. With shorter holes players can make it to the green in fewer strokes, and the courses tend to have less obstacles.

Springside Par 3 Golf Course

Springside Par 3 is a par-54 golf course with 9-holes. This course is very walkable with less than 100 yards in length between the holes. It is a great course to play to introduce your children to the sport.

Beaver Bend Par 3 Golf Course

Featuring an 18-hole par-3 course, Beaver Bend also provides group and private lessons, making it a great course to learn the sport. They offer rounds of 9-holes, 18-, or “play all day.” For additional fun, try out their glow golf.
