Columbia Crossing River Trails Center

Enjoy a leisurely bike ride near the river with the entire family! The Northwest Lancaster County River Trail begins at Columbia Crossing River Trails Center and stretches 14 miles to the river town of Falmouth. The trail follows the route of the historic Pennsylvania Mainline Canal and some remains of the original towpath are visible from the trail. In addition to hiking, biking, running, and walking, Columbia Crossing is a picturesque picnic spot. There are plenty of tables and pavilions that make for a beautiful outdoor setting, rain or shine! Strasburg Rail Road

The Strasburg Rail Road is America’s oldest operating railroad. The railroad is the perfect destination for families, train enthusiasts, and people looking for a relaxing ride in the countryside. The railroad also hosts events year-round to engage guests of all interests. See Thomas and Friends at the Railroad on specific dates throughout the year. The event includes a steam train ride on Thomas the Tank Engine, lawn games, photos opportunities, and more!
