The Lancaster Creative Factory offers affordable and accessible programs, which include classes, workshops, and community projects. They offer various levels and types of pottery and glassblowing classes. They also offer one-night classes where you can throw your own pottery, paint a beautiful picture, or blow your own glass flower. No prior experience is necessary.

Additionally, they provide summer camps and classes specifically designed for kids, making it perfect for young adults as well. Children as young as 8 years old can participate! The range of classes includes 2-D textile making or wheel-throwing.

6. The Pottery Works

The Pottery Works provides inspiring artists with the space and supplies to paint the perfect piece of pottery in Downtown Lancaster. Select your item - from bowls, plates, and mugs to piggy banks and figurines for kids - and paint it to your liking. If beading jewelry is more your style, head next door to BeadWorks and Gem Den to find a beautiful array of beads and gems to inspire even more crafting fun

7. ClayHouse Arts

Welcoming ages 5 and up. beginner to experts, and adaptations as needed - ClayHouse Arts is a judgement free space to have fun, be around like-minded people, and make cool stuff within a welcoming community. Owners Phenix and Quinn, with backgrounds in fine arts and occupational therapy, strive to make pottery accessible to everyone, believing in a boundary-free creativity.

7. Friendship Heart Gallery

Friendship Heart Gallery & Studio is a creative arts studio that provides a nurturing environment for Artists with Intellectual Disabilities and Autism. The gallery & studio are dedicated to celebrating the unique personalities and talents of their Artists through the power of free expression and collaboration. Conveniently situated near Gallery Row in Downtown Lancaster, Friendship Heart Gallery's mission is to empower Artists to share their innermost thoughts, feelings, and dreams with the world through their boundless creativity.

8. Pinspiration

Visit Pinspiration, a DIY creative studio space where everyone, regardless of age, can express their inner artist! From party rooms for both adults and kids, to a fun splatter paint room, candle making, wall art, and more, there's something for everyone. No experience is required, and everyone is welcome to create something unique.

9. The Old Country Store Sewing Class

The Old Country Store in Intercourse sells quilts, fabrics, and more sewing items. You can also take sewing classes! Learn basic to advanced skills to further your creativity. Learn the basic skills like making a cosmetic bag to more advance skills like quilting!
