Overview

Our experienced guides will lead you on an informative tour through the original 1805 farmhouse furnished like an Old Order Amish home of today. Learn about the history, traditions and culture of their unique way of life. Following the house tour, your group is free to explore the features of the farm. Our newest addition is the Amish one-room schoolhouse. Built by local Amish, it is equipped like an Amish school today. Visit the quilters' barn, watch the woodcarver demonstration, see the blacksmith shop and peek in the barns and stables. Groups can also enjoy either a buggy ride or a hayride around our property.

Take a step further in learning about Lancaster County with one of our step-on guides, who will escort your coach on a 1- 2- or 3-hour countryside tour. We also have foreign language guides on staff. Tours can be given in Spanish, French, German and Russian with advance reservations.

We feature special events such as Sheep Shearing Days, Kerosene Lamp Tours, Fall Farm Days and Apple Fest. We have a gift shop on site, and there is also free bus parking. Visit our website for more information regarding group tours and special events.
