Red Rose Walking Food Tour
Wherever my husband and I travel, one of the first things we do is take a food tour. It is a great way to get to know history, culture, and where some of the great food is in the area we are visiting. So… when we got home from one of our adventures, we decided to bring that same type of experience here to Lancaster, a city we love.
Our Red Rose Walking Food Tour is casual walk through the streets of downtown Lancaster on market days, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. We share with you Lancaster's famous and some "not so famous" historic figures that have influenced our nation’s development. There are stories of heroism, tragedy, and true love.
Lancaster has an incredibly diverse choice of cuisine. We will have an opportunity to taste delicious samples from just some of these local eateries. So come hungry!
We leave Penn Square Visitors Center for a 2.1 mile tour, approximately 2 1/2 - 3 hour. After our tour, you will receive a card that provides a 10% discount from several eateries we have visited.
Tour group size is limited to 12 persons. This allows us to keep your experience more personal. There are exceptions to every rule so please call if your group size is slightly larger. Reservations are required and we will accommodate dietary restrictions when possible. Check us out on TripAdvisor.
Hope to see you soon!
Tour season begins in April and will end the last week of October.
