Craft-A-Clock Workshop

Event Details

Dec 14

Learn what makes a clock ticktock and then take it home!

In this workshop, participants will assemble a clock and learn what's behind the dial of a time-only clock movement. The movements used in this course are skeletonized, allowing participants to see inside the clock to better understand how it works when it's running. Participants will learn basic terms and become familiar with the clock's fundamental parts. They will learn how a clock works by assembling the clock, lubricating it, and putting it into beat, so the satisfying ticktock is heard! Once the workshop is finished, each participant will take home the clock they crafted.
