From 1676 to 1680, 900 Susquehannock people lived in a village on a hill overlooking the Susquehanna River, just south of Wrightsville. Join Susquehanna National Heritage Area staff on a 45-minute hike of that village site in Native Lands County Park. Hikes will take place at 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM.

Please meet your guide at the Zimmerman Center for Heritage. Check-in at the front desk upon arrival.

What to bring

-Closed-toe shoes

-Bug spray with DEET or another tick-repellant

-Sun protection

Restrictions

This hike involves a steep incline. Participants need to be able to navigate roots and other obstacles on the trail.
