Manheim Township 8th Annual Halloween Carnival

Event Details

Oct 26

The Manheim Township Recreation Department is set to host their 8th Annual Halloween Carnival on Saturday, October 26th. The event is open to the public between 1 pm and 4 pm at the Overlook Activities Center (301 Golf Drive, Lancaster, PA).

The event includes carnival games and entertainment for youth of all ages.

“This year we have added 2 new games, and we invited our youth dance participants to provide some spooky routines,” said Manheim Township Recreation Director, Matt Stopa. “Come out on October 26th for Food Trucks, Halloween Themed Games, Haunted Expedition, Costume Contest and Parade. It will be our most festive Halloween Carnival yet!”

One of the major highlights of the Halloween Carnival is “Trunk-or-Treat,” hosted by the Manheim Township Police Department.

“MTPD is excited to be hosting Trunk-or-Treat alongside the MT Recreation Halloween Carnival! It was so much fun to see the heart, creativity, and personal touches of all the kids (and some adults) put into their costumes,” said Officer Shareen Caban. “We look forward to handing out candy and seeing everyone’s happy faces, but we especially look forward to seeing who the kids will vote for as their favorite trunk!”

Another big highlight of the carnival is the costume contest/parade that starts at 1:30 pm. Awards will be presented to the best costume in each division (4 & under, 5-8, 9-12, and groups).

Admission to the carnival and Trunk-or-Treat is free, while participation in carnival games and activities require tickets. For 10 tickets, the cost is $5, cash only. Tickets can be purchased at the event, or in advance online at – https://bit.ly/2024-Halloween-...

Parents and guardians do not need to purchase tickets, unless they would like to participate.
