Strictly Functional Pottery National

The 32nd Strictly Functional Pottery National exhibition, a prestigious event that celebrates the artistry and craftmanship of functional ceramics. opens on Friday, September 27, 2024, from 5pm- 8pm at the Lancaster Museum of Art, located at 135 N. Lime St. Lancaster, PA 17602.

This exhibition is not just a showcase of beautiful pottery: it is a testament to the rich cultural heritage of the ceramics artistic tradition and history. Out of an impressive pool of hundreds of applicants, 877 pieces were submitted, and only 150 were selected to represent the pinnacle of functional ceramics. Each piece on display has been carefully curated for its unique blend of artistry and practicality, making this a must -see event for art and design enthusiasts.
