Experience an adventure down the Lower Susquehanna River from the comfort of indoors in the Manheim Railroad Station Main Room. On Sunday, July 21 at 2 pm Adam Zurn of Uncharted Lancaster, well-known local legend, educator, explorer, amateur historian, adventurer, will speak about exploring our own Native American petroglyphs situated on lonely islands in the Susquehanna River. Enjoy exploring everything the Manheim Railroad Station Complex (open 1 - 4 pm) has to offer, including an 1881 train station with displays of Stiegel-type glass, ironwork stove plates, an over 3,000-lb safe, and an extensive Model Train display of the Manheim area. You can also ride the Birney Trolley (weather permitting) or take our newest walking tour "Manheim's 19th Century Industrial Revolution" at 1 pm or 3:15 pm (weather permitting) departing from the station.
